Cab rain test (pilot production / mass production) · Illustrated version of 1 operation | Compiled from the original process card for training and display
About the illustrations:
The original process card for this station repeatedly notes "see attached drawing / as shown in the figure", but the images embedded in the digital export are only the company logo and the "Controlled" version stamp — there are no actual process diagrams or photos. This page therefore does not show an illustration area. To view the original drawings, please check the official process card file in the paper system or PDM. 0100
Cab assembly rain test
Station NS1LY · Standard time 15 min | Operation steps
Step 10: Before the rain test, perform a pre-rain-test inspection: confirm that the roof, all vehicle glass (power windows must be fully raised), all body plugs, seals of all opening components (doors, tool boxes, etc.), doors (including accessories and guide rails), exterior trim panels, tool boxes, pressure relief valves, front rain cover, and all other parts that could allow rain water to enter the cab have been installed. Use a flashlight to inspect hidden areas, and hang the front bulkhead rain shield to prepare for the rain test. Step 20: Rain test in-progress inspection (pilot production stage): the cab under test must have all doors, windows and hole covers closed; inspect it in the designated area on the rain test line; no dripping or column-shaped water flow is allowed inside the cab. Rain intensity requirements: top ≥20 mm/min, sides ≥16 mm/min, pipe pressure >70 kPa; rain test duration no less than 10 minutes. The number of nozzles must ensure that the entire exterior surface of the body is evenly covered with water, and the rainfall intensity in all areas must meet the requirements — there must be no rain-dead zones. Step 30: Post-rain-test inspection (mass production stage): inspect all interior parts covering the sheet metal one by one; no dripping or column-shaped water seepage is allowed.

Rain test line spray intensity requirements: top ≥20 mm/min, sides ≥16 mm/min, pipe pressure >70 kPa; rain test duration no less than 10 minutes, nozzle coverage must have no dead zones; inspection method: sampled dynamic rain volume and pressure, 1 piece per month; this item is an important leak-risk inspection item and must be recorded in the inspection record card (control method: △)
