Install wiper motor assembly (the original title was mislabeled as "Install seat belt / wiper motor")

Step 10: At the position shown, install the wiper motor assembly into place and connect and secure the related harnesses. Tightening torque for the mounting bolts (M8): 23±3 N·m.

Install water channel assembly
Station NS110 · Standard time 1.2 min | Operation steps
Step 10: As shown, first apply butyl sealant evenly to both sides of the water channel (bead diameter 6 mm, approx. 440 ml per piece), then install the water channel assembly and fasten it into place with 11 hex flange bolts (thick shank). Step 20: As shown, install the outside air temperature sensor and clip and secure its harness into place; tightening torque for the relevant bolts (M6): 9±1 N·m.

Install front windshield cover plate

Step 10: As shown, install the washer reservoir water hose and the two-way connector onto the front windshield cover plate, making sure the installation angle is correct, and secure them with snap fasteners (9 pieces). Step 20: As shown, snap the front compartment seal assembly into the front windshield cover plate, making sure it is fully seated with no gaps. Step 30: As shown, first insert the front windshield cover plate locating pins into position, then snap in the lower windshield weatherstrip, then tap the plastic clips into the body slots, and finally secure the front windshield cover plate firmly with the snap fasteners.

Install front hood lock assembly

Step 10: As shown, install the front hood lock assembly and connect and secure the harness; fasten with 3 hex flange bolts (thick shank). Step 20: As shown, install the front hood bumpers (2 pieces), screwing them in about 2 turns. Step 30: As shown, install and secure the front hood lock release cable assembly (routed along the inside of the sheet metal) and connect it to the front hood lock; tightening torque for the bolts (M6): 9±1 N·m.

Step 30: As shown, apply the front compartment warning label, ensuring correct position and firm adhesion.

Install main wiper arm-blade assembly
Station NS110 · Standard time 1.2 min | Operation steps
Step 10: As shown, place the wiper arm assembly onto the wiper motor with linkage assembly, and fasten the wiper arm assembly onto the linkage assembly with the M8 nut (tightening torque 23±3 N·m); then snap the two nut caps supplied with the wiper arm assembly onto the nuts; finally insert the hose on the wiper arm assembly into the wiper water hose rubber sleeve. ☆ Note: after the wiper arm is locked, the distance between the wiper blade and the black edge of the windshield must be kept at 55±5 mm.
