8.5.3.1 Replacement of Walking Platform
Removal Procedures
1
Remove 4 fixing bolts of the walking platform.

Loosen the two mounting bolts on the middle right of the
front running board without removing them completely.

Remove 4 fixing bolts of the walking platform.

Pull out the lower front running board to the left, then lift
up and remove the front running board.
caution
Due to the heavy weight of the walking platform, it
shall be removed with the help of an assistant.
Installation Procedures
1
Move the walking platform to the mounting position.
caution
1. Due to the heavy weight of the front walking
platform, it shall be moved to the mounting position
with the help of an assistant.
2. Install the fixing brackets first before installing the
walking platform, and tighten the two fixing bolts in
the middle.

Install 4 fixing bolts of the walking platform.
Torque:23.6 +/- 2.2 (ft lbs)
3
Tighten the two mounting bolts on the middle right of the
front running board.
4
Install the walking platform rear trim panel.
Torque:23.6 +/- 2.2 (ft lbs)
