7.14.3.1 Replacement of Washer Fluid Reservoir Assembly
Reservoir Assembly
Removal Procedures
1
Open the door.

Open the front flip cover plate.

Disconnect the battery negative cable.
caution
power down the high-voltage system before
disconnecting the negative pole of the storage
battery.

Disconnect 2 harness connectors of the washer fluid
reservoir assembly.
5
Disconnect the washer fluid reservoir water pipe, and use
a container to catch the overflowing washer fluid.
caution
Use a clean container to receive the discharged
washer fluid.

Remove 4 fixing bolts of the washer fluid reservoir
assembly.
7
Remove the washer fluid reservoir assembly.
Installation Procedures
1
Move the washer fluid reservoir assembly to the mounting
position.
2
Install 4 fixing bolts of the washer fluid reservoir assembly.
Torque:(6.5 +/- .75) ft lbs

Connect the washer fluid reservoir water pipe.
4
Connect 2 harness connectors of the washer fluid
reservoir assembly.
caution
The harness is firmly connected following the
principal of "insert until a click is heard for
confirmation".

Connect the battery negative cable.
6
Close the front flip cover plate.
7
Close the door.

Removal Procedures
1
Open the door.

Open the front flip cover plate.
3
Remove the primary wiper arm blade assembly (nozzle
and hose).
4
Remove the front windshield cover plate assembly.
5
Remove the washer fluid reservoir water pipe.
Installation Procedures
1
Install the washer fluid reservoir water pipe.
2
Install the front windshield cover plate assembly.
3
Install the primary wiper arm blade assembly (nozzle and
hose).
4
Close the front flip cover plate.
5
Close the door.
