6.34.3.1 Replacement of Left Outer Weatherstrip Assembly
Weatherstrip Assembly
Removal Procedures
1
Open the door.

Lower all windows.
3
Open the front flip cover plate.
4
Disconnect the battery negative cable.
caution
power down the high-voltage system before
disconnecting the negative pole of the storage
battery.
5
Remove the IP left upper trim panel assembly.
6
Remove the left A-pillar protective plate assembly.
7
Remove the left front side wall protective plate assembly.
8
Remove the front USB interface.
9
Remove the IP left access cover plate assembly.
10
Remove the left switch panel assembly.
11
Remove the left switch panel lower trim panel assembly.
12
Remove the IP left lower trim panel assembly.
13
Remove the left middle side wall lower trim panel
assembly.
14
Remove the left middle side wall middle trim panel
assembly.
caution
1. First remove the break glass hammer's zipper
cover, carefully take out the break glass hammer's
pull ring and place it inside the trim panel.
2. Be careful to avoid accidentally pulling the break
glass hammer's pull ring.

Remove the left B-pillar upper protective plate assembly.

Remove the left middle side wall protective plate
assembly.
17
Remove the side wall clothes rail assembly.

Remove the left rear side wall protective plate assembly.

Remove 2 fixing screws of the left outer weatherstrip
assembly.

Remove the left outer weatherstrip assembly.
Installation Procedures
1
Move the left outer weatherstrip assembly to the mounting
position.
2
Install 2 fixing screws of the left outer weatherstrip
assembly.
3
Install the left rear side wall protective plate assembly.
4
Install the side wall clothes rail assembly.
5
Install the left middle side wall protective plate assembly.
6
Install the left B-pillar upper protective plate assembly.
7
Install the left middle side wall middle trim panel assembly.
8
Install the left middle side wall lower trim panel assembly.
9
Install the IP left lower trim panel assembly.
10
Install the left switch panel lower trim panel assembly.

Install the left switch panel assembly.

Install the IP left access cover plate assembly.

mounting position.

Install 2 fixing screws of the right outer weatherstrip
assembly.
3
Lift all windows.

Close the door.

Open the door.

Open the front flip cover plate.

Disconnect the battery negative cable.
caution

Remove the front USB interface.

Remove the IP left access cover plate assembly.

Remove the left switch panel assembly.

assembly.

caution
1.First remove the break glass hammer's zipper
cover, carefully take out the break glass hammer's
pull ring and place it inside the trim panel.

Remove the left body waterproof membrane (Ⅰ).

Remove the window regulator left lower mounting rail
assembly.
14
Remove 2 fixing bolts connecting the left adjustable
window assembly to the left window regulator assembly.
15
Move the left adjustable window assembly to the lowest
position.
16
Remove the left glass run assembly.
Installation Procedures
1
Install the left glass run assembly.
2
Move the left adjustable window assembly to the highest
position.
3
Install 2 fixing bolts connecting the left adjustable window
assembly to the left window regulator assembly.
Torque: (6.5 +/- .75) ft lbs

Install the window regulator left lower mounting rail
assembly.
5
Install the left body waterproof membrane (Ⅰ).
6
Install the left middle side wall middle trim panel assembly.
7
Install the left middle side wall lower trim panel assembly.
8
Install the IP left lower trim panel assembly.
9
Install the left switch panel lower trim panel assembly.
10
Install the left switch panel assembly.
11
Install the IP left access cover plate assembly.
12
Install the front USB interface.

Move the right inner weatherstrip to the mounting position.

Install the cable cover plate.

Remove the cable cover plate.

Remove the door protective plate assembly.

Remove the right body waterproof membrane (Ⅰ).

Remove the right body waterproof membrane (II).

Remove the window regulator right lower mounting rail
assembly.

Remove 2 fixing bolts connecting the right adjustable
window assembly to the right window regulator assembly.
10
Move the right adjustable window assembly to the lowest
position.
11
Remove the right glass run assembly.
Installation Procedures
1
Install the right glass run assembly.
2
Move the right adjustable window assembly to the highest
position.
3
Install 2 fixing bolts connecting the right adjustable
window assembly to the right window regulator assembly.
Torque:(6.5 +/- .75) ft lbs
4
Install the window regulator right lower mounting rail
assembly.
5
Install the right body waterproof membrane (II).
6
Install the right body waterproof membrane (Ⅰ).
7
Install the door protective plate assembly.
8
Install the cable cover plate.
9
Connect the battery negative cable.
10
Close the front flip cover plate.
11
Close the door.
