Five fill fluids

Tap a point on the truck.

One reservoir, one qualified product. Do not mix grades, or the same grade from different makers.

Coolant is one fluid in two loops. Ethylene glycol, freeze point −45 °C, conductivity at or below 100 μS/cm, GB 29743.2. Ordinary engine coolant stays out of both loops.

The brake is compressed air.

1Washer fluid

Where it sits
In the front compartment, behind the front flip panel. The cap has a windscreen icon. Windscreen only. It does not join the coolant loop.
What to buy
Automotive windscreen washer fluid, GB/T 23436-2009. Buy it locally.
How much, and when
3.5 L. Service is a level check.
Diesel truck
Same class of bottle as the washer bottle in the front bay of a diesel truck.

2Refrigerant

Where it sits
Service ports on the evaporator pipes at the front of the cab. Blue on the evaporator outlet, the low side. Red on the evaporator inlet, the high side. Recap after the charge. The receiver-drier is a part in the circuit, not a top-up bottle.
What to buy
R134a. The cabin compressor and the battery-cooling electric compressor both use R134a.
How much, and when
The recorded charge is 850 g, at those ports.
Diesel truck
Same class of high and low service ports as the cab air conditioner on a diesel truck.

3Steering oil

Where it sits
One cylindrical reservoir on a four-bolt bracket, mounted on the frame. Fill at the cap.
What to buy
ATF3, 4 L. Buy it locally to that grade.
How much, and when
Fill until nearly overflowing. With high voltage on, steer lock to lock 4 or 5 times. The level then sits between MAX and MIN. Filter and oil: every 60,000 km or 6–12 months.
Diesel truck
Same class of reservoir as the power-steering tank on a diesel truck.

4Coolant

Where it sits
Two plastic expansion tanks on the upper shelf of the rear integrated cooling frame, beside the fans, behind the cab. One tank is the battery loop. One tank is the motor and power-electronics loop. Both take this same fluid.
What to buy
Ethylene glycol, −45 °C, at or below 100 μS/cm, GB 29743.2. Buy it locally to that spec. Ordinary engine coolant is the wrong product.
How much, and when
Motor tank: 35 L on a four-motor truck, 30 L on a three-motor truck. Battery tank: 27 L for LFP, 37 L for NMC. Fill until nearly overflowing. After the pump runs 5–8 min with high voltage on, the level sits in the upper half between MAX and MIN. Change every 240,000 km or 2 years. If a different product is already in the loop, drain it and refill to this spec.
Diesel truck
A diesel truck has one engine-radiator bottle at the front. These are two low-conductivity tanks on the rear cooling frame.

5Gear oil

Where it sits
Inside the middle and rear e-axle reducers. The axle arrives filled. There is no gearbox sump.
What to buy
GL-5 75W/90 long-life gear oil. Buy it locally to that grade.
How much, and when
Four-motor: 16.5 L middle and 16.5 L rear. Three-motor: 16.5 L middle and 11.5 L rear. Fill until oil flows from the fill hole. Change every 300,000 km or 1 year.
Diesel truck
Same job as the drive-axle fill on a diesel truck. There is no gearbox sump and no engine-oil sump.
Fluid Place Spec Volume Interval
Washer fluid Front compartment GB/T 23436-2009 3.5 L Level check
Refrigerant Evaporator ports, front of cab R134a 850 g 850 g charge
Steering oil Reservoir on the frame ATF3 4 L 60,000 km or 6–12 months
Coolant Rear cooling frame, two tanks GB 29743.2 · ≤ 100 μS/cm · −45 °C Motor 35 L or 30 L · battery 27 L or 37 L 240,000 km or 2 years
Gear oil Middle and rear e-axle reducers GL-5 75W/90 16.5 L + 16.5 L, or 16.5 L + 11.5 L 300,000 km or 1 year

Air brakes, the steering reservoir, the front washer bottle, and the air-conditioning ports sit in the same class of place as on a diesel truck. This truck has no engine-oil sump, no diesel tank, and no AdBlue tank.

The build sheet does not name which frame rail holds the steering reservoir, or which face of the axle housing carries the gear-oil plug.

Fifth-wheel grease is a separate service item. Cell electrolyte and damper oil stay sealed inside their parts.
