DSV Partners with Allogic and Greenspace E-Mobility for 10 Windrose Electric Trucks on the I-35 Corridor

Backed by Greenspace E-Mobility's Electric Highway network, DSV begins the electrification of cross-border freight between Texas and Mexico with 10 Windrose Class 8 trucks.

DSV, in collaboration with transportation partner Allogic and charging infrastructure provider Greenspace E-Mobility, is advancing the deployment of electric heavy-duty transportation across the strategic I-35 corridor connecting Texas and Mexico.

The initial phase includes the deployment of 10 Windrose Technology electric Class 8 trucks operating between Dallas, San Antonio, and Laredo — one of the most important freight corridors in North America and a key gateway for U.S.–Mexico cross-border trade.

As the strategic infrastructure partner for Windrose Technology in South Texas and Mexico, Greenspace E-Mobility will support vehicle deployment, EV charging infrastructure, and corridor electrification initiatives aligned with large-scale fleet decarbonization goals. In alliance with Allogic, Greenspace will also support DSV's long-term CO₂ reduction commitments through scalable charging solutions and operational electrification strategies.

This deployment is the first commercial fleet activation on Greenspace E-Mobility's Electric Highway — a dedicated Green Hub network under development along Highway 85 (Mexico) and I-35 (Texas), connecting Monterrey to Dallas via Laredo and San Antonio. Phase 1 targets 4 Green Hubs operational in Texas by Q4 2026, with high-power charging from 400 kW up to MCS (Megawatt Charging System) engineered specifically for Class 8 trucks.

Each hub integrates on-site solar generation and battery storage, enabling reliable operations independent of grid constraints on one of North America's highest-volume freight routes.

The I-35 corridor through Laredo processes more than 20,000 trucks daily, representing one of the highest-volume logistics corridors in the Western Hemisphere. This deployment marks a significant step toward the electrification of cross-border freight transportation between the United States and Mexico.

Windrose Technology's global truck platform provides a unique advantage for international logistics operators. The Windrose E700 platform is homologated across North America, Europe, South America, Asia, and Oceania, enabling scalable deployment for multinational logistics providers such as DSV.

The Windrose Gen 2 E700 truck currently delivers more than 400 miles of real-world range, allowing routes such as Dallas–Laredo with only a brief charging stop in San Antonio. Future Windrose Gen 3 E811 platforms are expected to exceed 500 miles of range, enabling nonstop corridor operations.

Based on current operating assumptions, the initial deployment of 10 electric trucks could eliminate approximately 1,566 metric tons of annual tailpipe CO₂ emissions, reinforcing the growing momentum toward zero-emission freight ecosystems across North America.

Phase 2 of the initiative, targeted for 2027, will extend infrastructure into Monterrey and the Colombia–Nuevo León international bridge crossing, completing the first fully electric cross-border freight route between Mexico and the United States — with 25 additional Windrose trucks planned for deployment. At full buildout, the Monterrey–Dallas corridor will comprise 6 Green Hubs purpose-built for Class 8 electric freight operations, anchoring the most strategically significant electric logistics corridor in North America.
