Read the truck from your phone

Android phone + USB-C OTG cable + PEAK PCAN-USB adapter + the OBD cable. Listen-only: nothing is sent to the truck. Nothing to install — this page does it in Chrome.

  1. Plug the PCAN-USB adapter into the truck's OBD port. Ignition ON.
  2. Connect the adapter to the phone with a USB-C OTG cable.
  3. Press Connect, pick "PCAN-USB" in the list, then press Record.

Adapters: PEAK PCAN-USB (classic CAN) and PCAN-USB FD / Pro FD / Chip / X6 (CAN FD 500k/2M, J1939 250k, classic 500k). Laptop version: windrose.ai/start. Protocol reference: Linux peak_usb driver (GPL-2.0, PEAK-System).
